Great News! Our park is finally open again to our residents! According to Dan S., Pond and Park Coordinator, the Park and Pond area is open to residents after ten years of closure. There will be stepping stones on the creek end of the pond at the low water crossing.
The company that has helped to clear trees that were struck by lightening in the park/pond area has extended a 20% discount to all River Park Ranch neighbors that may need tree removal services. Here is their contact information: All Tree Service, LLC, Francisco 281-989-4697 or Ebier Avalos at 281-740-7664. Their website is: www.alltreesservice.com. They are insured and will provide free estimates. They specialize in dangerous take down & removal of trees, trimming, stump grinding and fence clearing.

Happy New Year to all the RPR Property Owners and your families.
For those of you that missed the February 2024 HOA meeting, there was much discussion about our community park and pond. If you haven’t heard, the spillway was under-minded and the water from the pond essentially went downstream, leaving the pond a mud pit. Where the water went and what destruction, if any, it created we don’t know, but it’s a serious issue and thus the reason for creating this page dedicated to the issue.
As concerned RPR Property Owners, a committee is being formed to brainstorm and bring forth ideas and solutions to mitigate any further damage, and to re open the park for all of us to enjoy. We understand this is a heavy lift for our community, and we are counting on you to help us move to viable solutions. If you are interested in being part of the committee, please use the contact form on this website and address your interest to Gwen Chambers.
Together, we can protect and enrich our River Park Ranch community; every single person matters!

Update February 2024
Thank you all to the many who reached out and answered the Call to Action posted earlier in February!!
A quick update to let the group know that several owners have come together and formed the RPR Park/Pond Restoration Committee. We met for approximately 75 minutes at the spillway. The discussion was healthy, productive and quite informative. Next steps will be to gather a few additional details and present viable solutions to the board in the very near future.
The highlight was watching (and hearing) concerned and committed neighbors come together, for the greater good of the entire RPR community.
Can’t wait to to fish (catch and release) and enjoy the beautiful scenery and sunsets.
If you have any pictures of the pond and park taken earlier in it’s history when it was fully functioning, please send them to Gwen Chambers using the Contact Form on this website.
